Cement production is the world's single biggest industrial cause of carbon pollution, responsible for 8% of global emissions. That's as much as the global car fleet.

Rombus was formed in 2019 with the vision of creating a cleaner greener future within the concrete industry by introducing a revolutionary rapid deployment recycled plastic grid system that is stronger, faster, cheaper, and greener than traditional methods.

Based in Perth WA the ground-breaking innovation is 100% Australian designed, manufactured, and owned. Each 1 m2 grid uses 5.4Kg of Australian recycled plastic and is a mere 4cm thick, however when filled with 32MPa concrete (10mm aggregate) it has a rating of over 10,000 tonnes per square metre.

We are Stronger
Able to handle 10,900 tonnes of compressive strength per m2 when filled with concrete, and an impressive comprehensive strength of 4,000 tonne per m2 when using granular materials such as road base or limestone aggregates.

And Faster
Our incredibly versatile grid is easily deployed, installed and can be removed in situ for any unforeseen subsurface repair. It can easily be used as a drainage solution within a pavement by using permeable aggregates in nominated areas.

The Rombus grid is modular and clips together requiring no skilled labour. Faster installation times reduce construction schedules, improving deadlines and increasing productivity.
